How can our oils be used?
- Our Essential Oils can be used with compatible aroma diffusers or many humidifiers. You can add a few drops of oil combined with water and the diffusers & humidifiers will release a wonderful strong scented vapor into the atmosphere so you get the most benefit!
- Dilute 5 drops of oil with 10ml of Miaroma base oil and gently massage into skin.
- Run a warm bath and add 4 to 6 drops of your desired oil. Then relax in the bath for at least 10 minutes to allow the aroma to work.
- Put 8 to 10 drops into a diffuser and breathe in your favourite scent.
- Dilute it with a carrier oil, such as jojoba oil, and then apply it to the soles of your feet or other parts of your body. (Tip – use 1 drop of oil per 1 teaspoon of carrier oil for children and 3 to 6 drops of per 1 teaspoon of carrier oil for adults.
How Should I Store My Essential oils?
- Make sure that the bottle lid is always tight, this will prevent oxidation, air and water from getting inside your bottle. By closing the bottle lid securely will also prevent any evaporation.
- Evaporation can also be caused by to much heat, so keep your essential oils away from any direct sunlight.
- The less contact your oil has with the air whilst in the bottle, the better. This helps the oil to retain its properties. Frequent and prolonged exposure to the air can sometimes change the smell and consistency of the oil.
- Our bottles all have a plastic fitment, which enables the bottle to dispense one drop at a time. These are also designed to keep as much air and water out of the bottle as possible.
- Your oils are best stored in a cool dark place. A draw is always a good option.
- How about putting your essential oils in the freezer, this is perfectly safe and will aid the preservation because of the consistent temperature and lack of light.
